Following up on our very successful inaugural release of FIGLIA, the 2017 is strong in its wake. Once again, this Merlot and Petit Verdot blend seamlessly marries the attributes of these two varieties into a gorgeous wine. More approachable in its youth than the Estate Red, this wine nonetheless is dense, powerful, and packed with ripe fruit, dried fig, and molasses. The finish is beautifully clean and structured. We’ve had so much fun making a second red wine from Figgins Estate Vineyard and thank you for the enthusiastic reception of the new addition to our portfolio!
