2016 Estate Riesling

Few know that the first wine my family released at Leonetti Cellar was a Riesling! It’s with this inspiration that I planted one tiny block of this amazing variety in a cool northwesterly draw of Figgins Estate Vineyard.

Its color is a striking, gold-tinted chartreuse. The nose explodes with bosc pear, granny smith apples, and mixed white flowers. With time in the glass, a mouth-watering note of rising bread yeast emerges. It is rich but deliciously dry with a brilliant acidity that only Riesling can bring. The finish is wonderfully long, clean, refreshing and will leave you wanting more.
